I am a commercial real estate professional with extensive expertise in development, brokerage, and property management. My experience began in 1986 with SCANA Development, Inc., the real estate investment arm of South Carolina Electric & Gas in Columbia, S.C., concentrating on office and industrial leasing and industrial land sales, including selling more than 120 acres of industrial land in Overlook Business Park. When Liberty Life Insurance Real Estate Investment Group acquired SCANA Development’s real estate division in 1994, I was named Director of Operations for the company’s $28 million Charleston and Columbia, S.C., real estate assets.

In addition to leasing and managing several hundred thousand square feet of office space, I sold three industrial spec buildings totaling more than 300,000 square feet in Columbia’s prestigious Northpoint Industrial Park and continued developing Faber Place, North Charleston’s innovative 80-acre class “A” office park, adding an experienced property management and maintenance staff to manage the park’s 400,000 square feet of office space.

When this entire, attractive portfolio was sold to Liberty Property Trust, LLC, a R.E.I.T. that owned over 33 million square feet of inventory in the southeastern U.S. and the U.K., I was asked to finish developing Faber Place and lease another 130,000 multi-story, multi-tenant class “A” office building, 44,000 square feet of single-story build-to-suits as well as a communications tower, and helped to negotiate the lease of a 300,000 square-foot national apparel distribution facility.

With a solid foundation built on innovation, commitment and expertise in developing, leasing, selling and managing more than 1,750,000 square feet of institutional grade real estate, I opened the doors to my own company in 2000. Then as now my goal was to take this specialized institutional grade knowledge and use it to help private clients develop and manage projects that ultimately fulfill their goals in an entrepreneurial environment, with sound management practices and exit strategies.

Current projects in North Charleston include the 338,000-square-foot Aviation Business Park-a class "A" office/flex park, North Rhett Executive Center-a newly constructed one story office space, 7011 Rivers Avenue-newly constructed single story office/retail space, and Carriage Hill Executive Center, which made headlines when Verizon Wireless leased the entire building.

Mount Pleasant has 929 Bowman Road-medical or office space for lease directly across from East Cooper Hospital. Strong interest is being exhibited in our latest single-story flex space development near Daniel Island. The newly renovated Harrell Square in West Ashley, a 51,000-square-foot office over retail center, has revitalized a major Charleston shopping district. The key to this success and ultimately that of our clients is our emphasis on providing sound management, a high level of tenant satisfaction and outstanding tenant and client relationships.
